Howard helps organizations achieve their conservation and public lands policy, advocacy, and management goals. He has spent the last 30 years immersed in natural resources and public lands work, serving in leadership roles in the non-profit, governmental, and private sectors. Howard has led and advised organizations in strategic planning and development, campaign strategy, collaboration and stakeholder engagement, government relations, communications, and other areas. He has also developed and managed natural resources programs and advanced natural resource policies. He has conducted field work and research in hydrology, wetlands restoration and mitigation, limnology, wildlife monitoring, and outdoor recreation. Howard lives in Santa Fe, NM, with his wife Marcie, raising vegetables and chickens, paddling and rowing on local rivers, and otherwise enjoying the region\u2019s public lands.<\/span><\/p>\n
