Brendan\u2019s advocacy work focuses on public lands management and operations, supporting land protection and stewardship, responsible energy infrastructure development, and the public-private partnerships that underpin the National Trails System.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h5><span style=\"color: #3258c9;\"><strong>L Fisher<\/strong>, Trail Policy Program Manager, Continental Divide Trail Coalition<\/span><\/h5>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/pnts.org\/new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/IMG_2275-1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-17886 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/pnts.org\/new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/IMG_2275-1.jpg\" alt=\"Photo of L Fisher\" width=\"323\" height=\"431\" \/><\/a>L Fisher is a community organizer and conservationist based in the Northern Rockies, currently working as the Trail Policy Manager for the Continental Divide Trail Coalition.They received dual degrees in Philosophy and Political Science before earning their Masters in Political Science from Indiana University. Before moving out west, they worked on community organizing and local advocacy throughout Indiana and parts of Texas. L\u2019s passion for environmental policy eventually took them to Montana, where they have worked as an organizer and outdoor educator along the Rocky Mountain Front. Tyler joined American Hiking in 2018, after nearly seven years with the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) where he led federal advocacy efforts on voting rights, disability rights, and humane border enforcement.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Originally from California, Tyler began hiking in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada\u2019s and the Stanislaus National Forest.
