Water that falls to the west of that line eventually drains into the Pacific Ocean, and waters that fall or flow to the east of that line eventually make their way to the Atlantic Ocean. The Continental Divide National Scenic Trail (CDNST) traces the Continental Divide through the continental United States, from Mexico to Canada. The CDNST is one of three trails that a person has to thru-hike to earn the title of \u201cTriple Crowner\u201d. The other two \u201cTriple Crown\u201d trails are the <a href=\"https:\/\/pnts.org\/new\/pacific-crest-national-scenic-trail-3\/\">Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail<\/a>\u00a0and the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pnts.org\/new\/appalachian-national-scenic-trail-2\/\">Appalachian National Scenic Trail<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Northern Terminus:<\/strong> Glacier National Park at Waterton Lake, Montana<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Southern Terminus:<\/strong> Crazy Cook Monument, New Mexico<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Continental Divide National Scenic Trail follows the route of the Rocky Mountains through five states: <a href=\"https:\/\/pnts.org\/new\/tag\/new-mexico\/\">New Mexico<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/pnts.org\/new\/tag\/colorado\/\">Colorado<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/pnts.org\/new\/tag\/wyoming\/\">Wyoming<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/pnts.org\/new\/tag\/idaho\/\">Idaho<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/pnts.org\/new\/tag\/montana\/\">Montana<\/a>.
