Trails link people to landscapes and culture. During this time of the pandemic, we find ourselves limited in who we can travel with and where we can go. With a national scenic or historic trail in every state and growing opportunities to access the trails virtually, you can enjoy and appreciate the scenic landscapes and history of the country.<\/span><\/p>\n

El Camino Real de los Tejas National Historic Trail<\/b><\/a> connects museums, visitor centers and other sites along a historic trail once used for settlement from Mexico City across Texas to Louisiana. As a part of this \u201cRoyal Road\u201d, the<\/span> San Antonio Missions National Historical Park<\/b><\/a> showcases missions, aqueducts and other remnants of everyday life including Mission San Jos<\/span>\u00e9<\/span>, which turns 300 years old in 2020!<\/span><\/p>\n

Did you know that certain foods like chocolate, pumpkins and corn traveled up El Camino Real de los Tejas? You will find history and culture presented in the<\/span> video gallery for the park<\/b><\/a> where you can learn how to make 3 traditional recipes.<\/span><\/p>\n
