OUTREACH<\/b><\/p>\n
Stories \u2014<\/strong> CDTC launched \u201cVoices of the CDT\u201d, a collection of stories about the people and places, past and present, connected to the CDT.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Planning \u2014<\/strong> CDTC released new trip planning resources for expanded trail visitors.<\/p>\n Virtual \u2014<\/strong> CDTC was the first trail org to go all virtual with their 2020 Trail Days Program<\/p>\n Community \u2014<\/strong> CDTC hosted Latino Conservation Week events that showcased diverse communities along the trail; Helena, MT became the first state capital to be designated a Gateway Community on any national trail.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n PROTECTION<\/strong><\/p>\n Education \u2014<\/strong> CDTC released the \u201cAtlas of the CDT\u201d, an exploration of the trail and its corridor through thematic maps, infographics, and narratives of the landscapes & communities connected by the CDT.<\/p>\n CAPACITY<\/strong><\/p>\n Strategy \u2014<\/strong> CDTC completed and began implementing its 2020-2022 Strategic Plan<\/p>\n Board \u2014<\/strong> CDTC Board adopted two new policies one on responding to utlity projects along the CDT and definiation of a CDT Experience statement.<\/p>\n MOU \u2014<\/strong> CDTC signed an interagency MOU with USFS, BLM, and NPS.<\/p>\n Staff \u2014<\/strong> USFS saw the transition of Brenda Yankoviak to the National Trails Program manager for the Washington Office and has a new CDT Program administrator- TBA shortly.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Continental Divide Trail Coalition (CDTC) OUTREACH Stories \u2014 CDTC launched \u201cVoices of the CDT\u201d, a collection of stories about the people and places, past and present, connected to the CDT.\u00a0 Planning \u2014 CDTC released new trip planning resources for expanded trail visitors.
