The Oregon California Trails Association<\/a> (OCTA) is set to premier a vigorous campaign of new historical YouTube content<\/a> focusing on stories surrounding the Trails of Western Migration.\u00a0\u00a0The first video in the series launched Friday, September 30th<\/u>\u00a0with an interview filmed in Casper, Wyoming, featuring dynamic youthful historian Kylie McCormick, on the history and importance of trail preservation for a new generation: \u201cIt\u2019s Our Time.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n

This new content will supplement and increase the existing OCTA YouTube library that is available to viewers. Over the past 12 years OCTA has produced over 40 such videos, on subjects ranging from \u201cSave South Pass\u201d with historian Will Bagley, re-enactors relating stories of pioneer diversity, and virtual visits to trail sites.<\/p>\n
