Richardson&#8217;s Point was where the first Mormon expedition unexpectedly camped for 12 days in 1846 due to heavy rains. While camped at the point, some of the first deaths on the trail occured, and two marked graves are located on the property.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>Unless otherwise indicated, all material in Pathways Across America is public domain.
