The Arizona Trail is one of America’s most biodiverse and dramatically scenic long-distance trails, stretching continuously over 800 miles from Mexico to Utah. The Trail links deserts, canyons, mountains, forests, communities, history and people. The Arizona Trail is open to all forms of non-motorized recreation, including hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding. The Arizona Trail Association is the primary organization dedicated to the Trail's construction, maintenance, protection, enhancement and promotion. In addition to trail operations, the organization has a vibrant youth and veteran engagement program. The Arizona Trail Association collaborates with Tribes, gateway communities, and a broad coalition of partners to help care for this important resource for the benefit of past, present and future generations.
