Purpose of Reports/Case Studies
The Partnership for the National Trails System regularly reports on critical elements of maintaining and developing the National Trails System. These reports educate decision makers, funders, advocates and friends of the National Trails System on the current threats, the contributions made by volunteers, the challenges and the excellent programs offered by member organizations and partners.
Case Studies
Produced by the Partnership for the National Trails System with support from the U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Highway Administration, these case studies share in-depth accounts of noteworthy land protection projects on National Trails. They are aligned with the U.S. Department of Transportation’s strategic goals: safety, infrastructure, innovation, accountability.
