Youth Scholarships


25 Trail Apprentice scholarships are available for the 15th National Scenic and Historic Trail Conference for young adults between the ages of 18 and 25 years old with an interest in the National Trails System. These scholarships include the cost of travel, registration, and meals. The application deadline for this year’s conference will be May 5th, 2015.

Trail Apprentices
Since first introducing youth scholarships at our 2009 Missoula conference, Trail Apprentices have become an important part of National Scenic and Historic Trails Conferences. They bring a valued perspectives from to the trails community from introducing new technology and social media, to making connections with new audiences to generating new ideas and ways to get things done.
