OUTREACH

Programs — During the pandemic, the ATA continued taking small groups of hikers along the trail in accordance with State restrictions for gatherings.

PROTECTION

Signs — ATA maintained signs and replaced lost markers, with the help of the Department of Hawaiian Homelands, to protect a section of trail on DHHL lands in Kau.

Land — ATA is in the process of closing on 1,300 acres at Kaunamano and working on acquiring an easement on 380 acres.

CAPACITY

Board — ATA welcomed two new members, increasing the board from 6 to 8.
