A career NRCS employee, Carrie became the Division Director for the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service in March of 2020. With degrees in Range Science from Texas Tech and Colorado State University, her NRCS career has taken her through Arizona, Idaho, Montana, and more recently as the State Conservationist in New Jersey. Carrie leads of team of 56 easement specialists who have helped NRCS protect over 5 million acres in conservation easements.
