Your tireless effort and commitment played a key role in the Congressional designation of the Pony Express National Historic Trail. Your devotion to promoting the Trail has been outstanding as you have organized and participated in countless celebrations and rides.

Craig Bromley

In 2011, Craig was awarded the Partnership for the National Trails System’s Lifetime Achievement Award for three decades of outstanding archeological service with the Bureau of Land Management. His steadfast commitment and exceptional leadership have been extraordinary in the management, research, and protection of the Oregon, Mormon Pioneer, California, and Pony Express National Historic Trails.
