Favorite moment/Biggest achievement of internship: I have recently launched the Next Generation Coalition and am excited to welcome individuals from across the trail to join me in volunteering, advocating for, and hiking on the NCT.
Future career aspirations: I would like to continue working in environmental nonprofit organizations, specifically in sustainable community farming and stewardship programs.
How has the internship prepared you for the future: It has given me firsthand experience in a nonprofit and has allowed me to explore a more administrative role. So far I have been able to network with others who share interests with me but have different talents and experience, ultimately teaching me new skills and ways to work alongside others.
