We welcome…

Federal Agency Partners:

  • Tracy Stone-Manning was confirmed as the head of the Bureau of Land Management. She will be the first person to lead the organization since the Obama Administration.
  • Dr. Tracey Ritchie joined the National Park Foundation as vice president of education and engagement.
  • The National Park Service announced the following Superintendent appointments:

Nonprofit Trails Partners:

  • The Appalachian Trail Conservancy welcomed Drew Ball as Southern Regional Director.
  • The Appalachian Mountain Club welcomed Liam Cregan as their new New England Trail Coordinator. He will be replacing Heather Clish on the Partnership for the National Trails System’s Trail Leaders Council.
  • The Arizona Trail Association welcomed Rosi Green as their new Trail Technician.
  • The Appalachian Trail Conservancy welcomed Rachel Lettre as Mid-Atlantic Regional Director.
  • Allie McCurry was welcomed as the new Development Coordinator for the Continental Divide Trail Coalition.
  • Kylie Yang joined the Continental Divide Trail Coalition as their new Field Programs Manager.

We bid farewell to…

Federal Agency Partners:

  • Stan Austin retired as Regional Director of the NPS South Atlantic-Gulf after 43 years of Federal service.
  • Howard Miller retired from the National Park Service’s Land Acquisition Program after 55 years of service.
