About: Trail enthusiasts from across the country participated in the webinar, “Introduction to Trail Safe! Online Trail Safety Training Videos,” hosted jointly by American Trails and the Partnership for the National Trails System. Watson spoke about the need for safety training and provided background information on how the program came into existence through its strong connection to NPS Operational Leadership. He also previewed representative content from each of the eight Trail Safe! lessons and concluded the webinar by offering a “starter kit” to trail groups who are interested in sharing Trail Safe! with their local audiences in a self-sufficient format.
