Teresa Martinez

TeresaTeresa Martinez is the Executive Director of the Continental Divide Trail Coalition. She is a publicly recognized professional with demonstrated skills in fundraising, program development, problem solving, and management; National Scenic and Historic Trails System Management, trail design and construction; volunteer recruitment and management, recreation management; non-profit management; and youth and mentoring program development. Over the course of her 25 years in the trail management and non-profit management she has had increased responsibility for implementing vision for two national scenic trails (the A.T. and CDNST) and, as a Board member with the Partnership for the National Trails System, the National Trails System as a whole. Ms. Martinez received her M.S. in Human Dimensions of Natural Resources from Virginia Tech, and published her Thesis entitled: Motivations and Characteristics of Active and Non-active Members and Volunteers of Non-governmental Natural Resource Organizations.
