Allison Williams is a Mobilizegreen Intern working with the Southern Region of the U.S. Forest Service and SW Virginia/Deep South Appalachian Trail Conservancy offices based out of Asheville, North Carolina. She holds a degree from Southern University in Therapeutic Recreation and Leisure Studies. The last two years Allison was a Student Conservation Association/AmeriCorps intern at the Osceola National Forest in North Florida as a Volunteer and Community Outreach Fellow.
In her current position she is the Volunteer and Service Coordinator and assist the 11 trail ATC clubs from Virginia to Georgia in her region with youth and diversity initiatives. Allison is very savvy with the use of social media to assist with touching new audiences and engaging them to find out information about the organizations she works with.
Allison enjoys volunteering, traveling to beautiful natural landscapes (aka the beach) and doing yoga where ever she currently calls home.
