Audrey Elder

AudreyElderAudrey has been a small business owner and freelance writer and blogger for over 20 years.  Audrey created Past to Present Research LLC in 2010 to provide in depth historic research for historic aged property owners, consulting and education.  Currently Past to Present is finalizing its 27th book since the company began.  Audrey is also a Real Estate Historic Properties specialist and currently teaches a Certified Education course for Realtors in Kansas and Missouri on the subject.

Audrey’s distinctions include: 2012 Kansas City Realtors Association- Real Estate Future Trail Blazer, Board Member Kansas City Realtors Association Govt. Affairs, and Missouri Association of Realtors; State Director. Civic distinctions 2012 City of Independence Preservation Hickman Award, Commissioner  and Vice Chair of the City of Independence Heritage Commission, OCTA Education Outreach Committee Co-Chair, and Board Member of local Water District.

Audrey and her husband Dan have two grown children and live in Rural Jackson County Missouri near Fort Osage.  They enjoy organic gardening and bee-keeping as well as back road weekend trips with a goal to eventually visit every historic town in the state of Missouri.
