Kelsy is a student at the University of Kansas and an intern for the Oregon-California Trails Association (OCTA). Merrill Mattes, one of the organizations founding members, left his entire research library to OCTA. Kelsy was given the task of tackling some of these materials. After digitizing all of them, she was given the opportuninity to work with someone to help turn these documents into a website. She has been with OCTA for a year and a half.
