As the Ice Age Trail Alliance’s Outreach and Education Manager, Luke connects communities with the Ice Age National Scenic Trail through unique business opportunities as well as engaging the next generation of trail stewards. Two programs, Ice Age Trail Community and Saunters, serve as mediums for this engagement. The fledgling Ice Age Trail Community program builds awareness with local businesses while creating strong partnerships. The Saunters program allows the IATA to collaborate with school districts in helping youth develop trail sense. Combined, these programs are mobilizing leaders of today while preparing for tomorrow.
