Tony Turnbow

Tony TurnbowTony Turnbow  is past-president and current volunteer executive director of the Natchez Trace Parkway Association, where he is working with NPS to develop programs including trail fitness, cycling safety, living history, and interpretation using smart phones.  He authored an Arcadia Publishing photo history book “Building The Natchez Trace Parkway” for the association’s 75th anniversary. He has worked with the Natchez Trace Parkway as a volunteer and board member for the association for over 25 years.   As a graduate of Vanderbilt University and the University of Tennessee College of Law, Tony practices law in Franklin, Tennessee.  .He serves on the Board of Trustees for Lewis and Clark Trust, Inc. and on the Tennessee War of 1812 Bicentennial Commission.  He has also served on the Governance Committee of the Lewis and Clark Trail Heritage Foundation, and on the boards of directors of Tennessee Humanities Council, Tennessee Main Street, and Tennessee Heritage Alliance.
