Amanda discovered her passion for connecting others to the outdoors as a student at Dartmouth College, where she led trips along the Appalachian Trail. She worked as an environmental educator for several years before landing at the Appalachian Trail Conservancy. While at ATC, Amanda worked on a variety of programs aimed at broadening the community of A.T. stewards, and began volunteering as a member of the Next Generation Advisory Council when she left in order to stay involved with initiatives she cares deeply about. She now works as the Marketing & Communications Specialist for the Continental Divide Trail Coalition.
