Carol Weisman has served on 40 boards and has been president of 9. She founded Board Builders in 1994 and has worked all over the world. She specialized in fundraising, governance and volunteerism. She is the author of 11 book on fundraising, governance and philanthropy. Her book Raising Charitable Children has been covered by the NY Times and Parade Magazine. Becoming One of the Grateful Dead: Where there’s a will, there’s a way is due to hit the stores and Amazon Nov. 1. Carol worked as a Park Ranger at the Gateway Arch while she was in grad school. She still bemoans the loss of her beloved hat.
