John Slaughter is a 17 year veteran of the National Park Service and Superintendent for the Southern Campaign of the American Revolution Parks Group including Cowpens NB, Kings Mountain NMP, Ninety Six NHS & Overmountain Victory NHT. The group is the first thematically aligned consolidation in the NPS incorporating a NHT to leverage like-kind resources and partners in the promotion and development of the places, stories, people and communities associated with this lesser known segment of American history.
