Laura Hicklin, Director, Dane County Land & Water Resources Department
Laura is the director of the Dane County Land & Water Resources Department, an agency that manages over 14,000 acres of parks, trails and natural resource areas. The agency also administers stormwater, erosion control and water quality regulations, provides technical assistance to agricultural producers, and develops and implements watershed plans. Laura is a licensed real estate broker and is heavily involved in the agency’s robust acquisition program, which includes the protection of lands for the Ice Age National Scenic Trail.
