Nancy works with the Forest Service on the realty staff in Washington DC and manages Land and Water Conservation Fund acquisitions for National Forests. The majority of acquisitions completed with the Land and Water Conservation Fund support Forest Service goals around public access for recreation including protection and support of National Scenic and Historic Trails. Prior to joining the Forest Service, Nancy worked as a land protection specialist with two land trusts in Michigan. Nancy and her family enjoy exploring the undeveloped parts of Virginia, fishing, and gardening.
