Rachel Wootton

Rachel Wootton works for the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Washington Office. Currently, she splits her time between Public Affairs and the National Conservation Lands program. The National Conservation Lands include Wild and Scenic Rivers, National Scenic and Historic Trails, Wilderness, National Monuments, National Conservation Areas and similar designations. She spent the summer on a temporary assignment as a Public Affairs Specialist for the Utah State BLM Office. She is passionate about access to the outdoors and stewardship of natural resources. She grew up in Logan, Utah and attended the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, graduating with a degree in political science with a minor in earth science and a sustainability certificate.
