Now more than ever we need our trails, natural areas and public outdoor spaces. Together we can build and improve accessibility and put the national scenic and historic trails on the map and into your home!
Every day, the staff of the Partnership for the National Trails System (PNTS), our member organizations, and partners work to bring to life the majestic landscapes and historic linear landmarks that make up the National Trails System. The work goes on from within our living spaces and makeshift home offices during these times of Stay at Home orders and physical distancing.
We invite you to stay local or go virtual and explore the National Trails System. With your gift today of $50, $100 or $250 or more, the Partnership for the National Trails System can continue to expand your experiences with these remarkable natural, cultural, scenic, and historic corridors.
Learn the story left in the landscape of Wisconsin by the last glacier as a family explores the Ice Age National Scenic Trail. Built and maintained by volunteers and the stewardship of PNTS member organization the Ice Age Trail Alliance (IATA), the trail follows the furthest advance of the glacier and will be more than 1,000 miles long when complete. Follow the yellow blazes through forests, prairies, towns, and of course glacial features!
The Lodi Valley Chapter of IATA hosts Art on the Trail which celebrates local artisans and the trail. The temporary linear outdoor art gallery brings a multimedia experience and some surprises to your visit to the trail.
We are not out of the woods yet, but with your generous gift today, we will continue to bring the National Trails System to you. Whether your adventure is in the online gallery, through a video, or out on a local trail, enjoy what our National Trails System offers you.
PS: At the $100 level and up, we will send you the Pathways Across America Magazine!
With gratitude,
Liz Wessel
