Trust for the Nez Perce Trail
The Trust for the Nez Perce Trail is the nonprofit stewardship partner to the U.S. Forest Service. We provide ongoing support for the preservation, interpretation, promotion, and management of the Nez Perce (Nee-Me-Poo) National Historic Trail, including partnership-building, public education, and support for rural tourism related to the Trail.
In 2026, we are commemorating the 40th anniversary of the Trail’s designation, and in 2027, we are commemorating the Sesquicentennial (150th) anniversary of the Nez Perce Flight of 1877.
