The Partnership for the National Trails System (PNTS) is currently accepting nominations for their Board of Directors (BOD) through October 4, 2021. If selected to join the Board, new members will sit for a three-year term beginning in January 2022.
Who should apply / Who should you nominate?
Anyone nominated for a PNTS BOD position should have:
- A passion for the National Trails System.
- Expertise in development, fundraising, marketing, and/or law.
What does the position entail?
Board Members sit for a three-year term and will be expected to attend 4-5 meetings per year.
Members of the BOD are responsible for organizational governance, ensuring that the organization’s strategic plan is being implemented faithfully and effectively, and providing oversight and guidance to PNTS’ Executive Director.
