Primary Venue
The 2016 National Historic Trails Workshop will take place at the Stoney Creek Hotel & Conference Center. Located at 18011 Bass Pro Drive, Independence, MO 64055
The room rate is $99 + tax per night. Please mention the Partnership for the National Trails System when booking to receive this special rate. Rooms at this rate are limited, so we recommend booking early. Dial 800-659-2220 to make a reservation. Update 5/13—Room block filled

Secondary Venue
In the event that the room block at the Stoney Creek Hotel & Conference Center fills, the secondary venue recommendation is the Holiday Inn Express. There will be a small room block reserved under the Partnership for the National Trails System at $119+ tax per night. To make a reservation dial 1-816-795-8889. Rooms must be reserved by 5/23 to receive this special rate. The PNTS will provide shuttling to and from the workshop from this venue.
Transportation
The closest airport is Kansas City International Airport located approximately 40 minutes north of Independence. Information on ground transportation from the airport can be found here.
